Our Brazilian decaf beans are often raved about by customers as being the best they have ever tasted. This in part is the beans, but also our care and attention in preparation as with all of our coffees.
Our decaf is made using the Swiss Water® Process, a chemical-free method using only time, temperature, water, and coffee to remove 99.9% of caffeine from the bean. This gentle process allows a coffee’s unique characteristics to shine through without leaving any chemical residue.
By using green beans that have caffeine extracted using the Swiss Water® Process instead of harsh chemicals, it ensures a smooth, rich cup of coffee for you to enjoy without the caffeine hit.

Does Decaf Brazil taste different from regular coffee?
It's remarkably close. Because Swiss Water processing is gentler than chemical methods, more of the coffee's natural flavour compounds stay intact, so you still get real body and sweetness, just without the caffeine.
Is Swiss Water decaf actually chemical-free?
Yes. Swiss Water processing uses only water, temperature and time to remove caffeine, no chemical solvents involved, making it one of the cleanest decaffeination methods available.
Why choose Swiss Water over other decaf methods?
Other decaf methods use chemical solvents that can strip more flavour from the bean. Swiss Water avoids that entirely, which is why we chose it for ours.
Does decaf coffee contain any caffeine at all?
A trace. Swiss Water processing removes around 99.9% of the caffeine, so a cup of Decaf Brazil carries only a few milligrams, compared to roughly 80 to 100 in a regular cup. It's nowhere near enough to feel, which is why it works even as an evening coffee.
