Are the decaf pods compatible with Nespresso machines?

Are Rabbit Island's coffee capsules recyclable?

Yes, they're recyclable through most council collection bins in New Zealand, so for most households they can go straight into regular recycling. If your council is one of the stricter ones, a quick check of its list will confirm.

What coffee is inside the capsules?

Our Seasonal Blend, the same 100% Arabica mix of Brazil, Colombia and Ethiopia we roast for beans, with caramel and chocolate up front and just the right amount of fruit popping through.

Why does capsule coffee taste different from ground or whole bean?

Capsule coffee is sealed immediately after grinding, which helps preserve freshness, but the extraction process in a capsule machine differs slightly from a manual brew, giving a distinct, consistent result each time.

Hi, this is my second box of capsules (first box was a gift).
The coffee tastes good but it seems my Nespresso is struggling to get the water through the capsule, as if the foil is too thick...

I personally wasn’t a huge fan, the coffee machine (nespresso) had trouble pumping the coffee through compared to other capsules and it was a weaker blend (very mild) than I was after. Luckily we’ve upgraded our machine and need whole beans, I’m obsessed with the rabbit island seasonal blend & will be ordering that from now on.

We have purchased many different brands of coffee pods and until we bought these recently, our go to pods were from L'Affare. Rabbit Island us now our pod of choice. We'll dine team
